The Charlene Von Hoffmann Cancer Foundation is a foundation created by the Author in the spirit of the woman whom it is named after. The Author’s profits from this book will be donated to the Foundation to help those with cancer in need of resources and research. Charlene Von Hoffmann was an extraordinary human being who was always full of energy and cared deeply for her fellow man kind. She went the extra mile for people her whole life especially those who could not care for themselves. She always took time to cook for, care after, listen to and be involved in the lives of her friends, neighbors, clients, family and even strangers. She was an example of God’s work, a woman like no other and unfortunately was taken from us too soon. It would only make sense that a foundation be created and funded by profits from her story, The Journey Home. This foundation is created to endow cancer patients in need of funds and to fund research to cure cancer. It was created to celebrate and remember her life and what she brought to our world. This foundation is dedicated in her name, in her memory and her honor with that extra special Love that she gave to everyone she touched. She will never be forgotten and will continue to touch those in need. |
